POLYVALANT – K4 is a well-balanced, broad spectrum preservative for creams/lotions, butters, pomades, hair relaxers, body/hair oil and other leave-on products.

Polyvalant-K4 is a liquid blend of phenoxy-ethanol combined and with a number of paraben in chlorinated phenol.

Polyvalant-K4 is effective against bacteria (gram+, gram- and moulds).

Typical Properties

Appearance: Transparent liquid.
Odor: Characteristic.
pH: 4-5
Specific Gravity (20Cº ): 1.055-1,1g/ml
Solubility: Insoluble in water.

POLYVALANT – K5 is a high purity liquid mixture of isothiasolinones developed especially for rinse-off products.

Applications: Shampoos, shower gels, hair gels, aqueous face lotions, micellar water.

Polyvalant – K5 based on a mixture of isothiazolinones. It is effective against bacteria (gram+, gram-), yeasts and moulds.

Typical Properties

Appearance : Transparent-yellowish liquid.
Odor : Characteristic.
pH : 3-4
Specific Gravity(20Cº) : 1.01-1.04 g/ml
Solubility : Water soluble
